WORKSHOP - no need to limit your life
this Saturday, April 19, with acclaimed author, inner-work facilitator, and 'peak professor' of Internal Family Systems, Robert Falconer
I don’t know anyone more devoted to waking Westerners up than Bob Falconer. We can be a stubborn, often willfully-blind people—clinging to views even as they start to harm us—and still, this respectful spiritual-care facilitator teaches truths we need to hear. SATURDAY, APRIL 19 IS OUR FINAL WORKSHOP in a trilogy with this remarkable man; we are honored to host him again and hope you will join us.
Having said that, I know the title of the workshop includes an idea many of you aren’t familiar with—porosity—so you may be grappling with how that concept is relevant to your life. Rather than tackle that question long-form, I’d prefer to ask you this:
Was your life changed when you were exposed to the ideas of systems thinking, or neuroplasticity, inherited trauma, or the Observer effect? Did anything shift in your worldview when you learned about the hero’s journey, or attachment theory, or spooky action at a distance?
This is the kind of profound positive disruption Bob is teaching in this experience. Understanding porosity of mind represents a seismic paradigm shift, one of our greatest human-potential opportunities. In this workshop, he’ll share overwhelming evidence that all of our minds are porous—energetically permeable and creatively interconnected—and he’ll explain how that makes a difference in the very real world, and how we can use this understanding to our advantage.
Like me, Bob is a sense-and-respond facilitator (meaning he has a plan and then goes rogue when necessary) but there will be a blend of guided meditations, dialoguing with inner realms, and helpful visualizations. The video below gives you a sense of the teaching and this link shares need-to-knows and practical takeaways.
FYI, Bob’s latest book is a treasure unto itself and there’s a 15% discount on his trilogy of workshops, both live and recorded. You can smash worldviews at your leisure.
