This makes me want to research the history of alchemy. I know some of it went sideways during experimentation and due to expectations that kind of defied scientific principles, but I bet there is a rich back story there...what is alchemy, really? What happens when we alchemize anything? And yes, I have met a few Wizards in my day. And Sages, and Guardians, and Guides, and Dakinis, and powerful, powerful Goddesses.
